Projects

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) has established and funded a Systems Biology/Systems Immunology Consortium to discover and validate molecular, immunological, and clinical signatures of vaccine efficacy for infectious diseases.

The Global Health Discovery Collaboratory program (previously GH-VAP, Global Health Vaccine Accelerator Platform) is designed to benefit Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) Grantees and Partners by linking researchers with best-in-class research services to accelerate vaccine discovery and translation. The Global Health Discovery Collaboratory is a network of researchers, centers of excellence, and technology platforms working together to explore new hypotheses, unlock intractable problems, and find new solutions for global health challenges. Standard conditions and agreements for access to data and a secure Collaboratory portal to provide uniform mechanisms by which grantees can request collaborative research support to accelerate their BMGF-funded vaccine discovery projects.

Stanford CHSI has tailored approaches based on study design and scientific priorities developed in collaboration with our GH-VAP partners as well on a pilot projects that are in strategic alignment with the goals of the foundation.

Below are previously funded or current Collaboratory projects and pilots.
