The Institute hosts several working groups that build on Stanford's unique success in creating new knowledge at the interface between disciplines. Composed of faculty from the basic and clinical sciences, the Working Groups have the following goals:
Identify the gaps in understanding the limit progress
Invest in new resources to advance research and patient care
Support collaboration with industry to exploit discoveries
Conduct trials to prove clinical benefit of new treatments
Role of Infection and Immunity in the Development of Chronic Unexplained Illnesses
Research presentations take place during each meeting facilitating the discussion for new collaborations and grant submissions.
