- Description: The project supports doctors and students to go to remote area in India's north east to organize medical camps focussing on oral and pulmonary health. There is also opportunity to engage in short term research project. The research laboratory, KaviKrishna Lab is located in Guwahati Biotech Park, IIT-Guwahati campus. Recently, KaviKrishna Lab participated in a research project to discover the stem cell niche where dormant tuberculosis bacteria hide (Das B et al. Science Translational Medicine, 2013).
